About
Why Hello June exists
Hello June was born from a simple observation: working holiday tax admin in Australia is written for accountants, in English, at scale. Hnry targets professional sole traders. Airtax is expensive and assumes you already know what you're doing. The ATO's MyDeductions works but the UX is rough. And none of them speaks to you in your native language.
Built in Melbourne for the working holiday makers actually living between two tax worlds: a job (TFN) and a side gig (ABN for Uber, Eats, freelance). We answer the 3 questions most asked in backpacker Facebook groups: how much do I get back at EOFY, what can I claim, how many visa days have I qualified.
Hello June is not a tax agent. It's a preparation tool: you upload documents, June calculates, organises, flags what's missing. For the final ATO submission, you use either myGov or a Registered Tax Agent (we can recommend a partner).
Bilingual EN + FR from day one. You speak English (you wouldn't be here otherwise). But your tax paperwork at 10 pm after a long picking day, you'd rather do in your native language.
